Have booked FPs for as early as possible, thinking we would then be able to obtain additional FPs for later in the day after using the initial three. Is this a good strategy or should I have booked initial three FP for later when it's more crowded?

    Hi Suzanne,

Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  Disney's FastPass+ service is a great way to ensure that you can experience many of your favorite attractions with shorter wait times.  Currently, guests are able to make three Disney FastPass+ selections before arrival at the theme park.  Once you have used all of these, or the time window for the last one has passed, you will be able to make another Disney FastPass+ selection using a FastPass+ kiosk in the theme park.  This additional selection is rolling, so each time you use an additional FastPass+ experience, you will be able to choose another one.

I do like your strategy for using your Disney's FastPass+ selections early and then choosing more as the day goes one.  I will caution you that the selections are subject to availability, so it is possible that there will not be Disney FastPass+ selections available for the more popular rides later in the day.  I would suggest that you book the attractions which are the most popular using your initial Disney FastPass+ selections.  For example, if you want to meet Anna and Elsa at Magic Kingdom Park, or ride Soarin' at Epcot or Toy Story Midway Mania! at Disney's Hollywood Studios, I would book those from home as early in the day as possible.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Suzanne.  Have a wonderful time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
