I booked four nights with two park days at Drury through the Disney hotel and ticket package. I was considering wanting to visit a park on arrival day since we do not live far - is there a way to easily add park days to an existing reservation?

    Hiya Tori! Welcome to planDisney!

I'm excited to hear about your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort this summer! Staying in one of the Walt Disney World Official Hotels near Disney Springs puts you right in the middle of the action and also comes along with some great perks. I have a feeling you are going to love your stay there.

Tori, I completely understand you wanting to take advantage of your arrival day. Having access to visit a park the moment you arrive is a great idea to maximize the time you have on your vacation. Even better yet, making this change since you booked directly through the Walt Disney World website is easier than ever.

The quickest way to add an extra park day to your vacation package is to log on to your My Disney Experience account. Scroll down to "My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets" to view your hotel reservation. There should be an option to change your reservation to the right of your screen. If so, click on this to make the appropriate changes to your ticket package. The increase in cost should reflect in the total amount due for your stay. If for some reason this option is not available, you can always call the Existing Tickets line and speak to a Cast Member for assistance. They will be happy to make these changes for you over the phone and get you ready for a magical stay.

Tori, since you are staying within walking distance of Disney Springs, you'll have countless dining options at your fingertips. Summer House on the Lake is one of the newer additions and has quickly become a family favorite of ours. We dined here for dinner on a couple of occasions, but they also have a wonderful brunch offering on the weekends as well. I highly suggest making this a stop during your stay if time allows.

I hope this information helps you plan for your stay! Stop back and see us again at planDisney with any additional Disney vacation planning questions!

    See ya real soon!
