I have booked flights to WDW for Jan30-Feb9, 2013. Will be travelling with hubby, 5 & 3 year olds girls and 6 mo old. Would really like to stay on site at WD but would like 1 bed room. Any idea on rough cost of this + reg meal plan? We have tight bud

Hi Cyn!  Oh I hope you are able to manage a stay at one of the great Disney resorts.  I suggest you look into the newest of the Value resorts called the Art of Animation. This new resort has one bedroom family suites. The All Start Music resort also has these family suites so be sure and check with that one as well. Click HERE to read more about the resort. Another option is the Fort Wilderness cabins which are considered a moderate resort but they come with a full kitchen giving you the opportunity to do some cooking and saving money in that area.

Since the 2013 prices are not published yet your best bet for accurate quote is to call the reservation number at 407-934-7639. This year a similar stay at the All Star Music for a family suite plus regular dining and 10 day tickets is about $4700.  But there are many ways to trim that price by not having quite as many park ticket days as you don't really need them for the arrival and departure day and also perhaps changing to the Quick Service dining package. You can also check out and see if there are any specials going to be offered at that time.
