Hi Sophie,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question, my fellow international traveller!
I really appreciate the fact that overseas visitors can book every aspect of their Walt Disney World Resort vacation directly with Disney, including flights! It really does take the guesswork out of the process.
From what I understand, your confirmation email should have a section that provides more details regarding your flight information, including your choice of airline and flight times. In that booking, you should see a line for an “Airline Booking Reference” or “Airline Confirmation Number.” Typically, that’s the information that you’ll need to retrieve your reservation at your airline’s website in order to confirm or modify your travel options, including making seat selections.
Please note that your ability to modify these options will depend on the carrier and fare that you have chosen to purchase, so please contact them directly if you have any questions about your flights.
Did you know that you’ll be able to make all your
Disney Dining Reservations for up to 9 days of your vacation as of 60 days before your arrival date at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel? This is a really great advantage, one that will allow you to snag a reservation for really popular restaurants like
Space 220 Restaurant and
Cinderella’s Royal Table, especially if you look for availability near the end of your stay. And don’t forget that
Online Check-In is a great way to make sure that everything is set up for your arrival and minimize the time you’ll need to check-in at the Lobby Concierge (or even allow you to skip the Front Desk entirely and go directly to your room, in some situations.)
Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
