We booked a flight and hotel June 19 - 24th. Our main reason was to visit the Magic Kingdom and Disney Hollywood. We were not aware about the Park reservation system and now it seems there are no available dates for those parks. I am so upset. What can I d

Hi there, Rebecca! Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your question. We're a group of Guests just like you who love helping people plan their Walt Disney World Resort vacations.

I can hear your disappointment and frustration, Rebecca. So many things have changed in the past year, and I know we're all hoping for a little pixie dust to come our way. Even the way we experience Walt Disney World is a little different now, including Disney requiring us to make Disney Park Pass reservations before visiting the theme parks. Looking at the Availability Calendar just now, I can see that reservations for next week are pretty sparse. I have a couple of suggestions that may help. One is to keep an eye on the calendar for the next few days and see if any reservations open up as other Guests change their plans and provide an opportunity for you. Another possibility is to consider adding the Park Hopper Option to your tickets. That way, you can make a Disney Park Pass reservation for a park that does have availability, and then head to another park in the afternoon when hopping hours open. It may be your best chance to get to the parks you were really hoping to visit.

Rebecca, I'm so sorry your magical plans have gotten off track. It might help for you to speak directly to a Cast Member to explore all of your options. You can call Guest Relations at the number listed under "Existing Tickets" to get some one-on-one assistance.

Thanks again for coming to see us. You're always welcome to drop by if you have any more questions, and I hope you're able to plan a Walt Disney World vacation that makes everyone in your family smile from EAR to EAR.

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
