    I have booked five WDW hotels through non-Disney websites. They have each given me reference numbers that start 235-XXXXXXX. Are these the reference numbers to link the resort bookings in MDE? How quickly should these be activated? Many thanks!

    Oh boy!  You sure have been bibbidi-bobbidi-busy planning your jolly June 2022 holiday with 5 different stays in Disney Resort Collection hotels!  That does sound like a whole lot of magical summer holiday fun.

    Gemma, I thought that it might be useful for you to know that I've just taken a quick peek at my own Disney Resort confirmation number (booked via the Walt Disney Travel Company), and I'm happy to confirm that it's a 12 digit number, with no hyphens (-) contained in it.

    Typically, Guests who have made new bookings at Walt Disney World Resort are required to wait up to 48 hours for the booking to populate within the system before the booking becomes active and can be linked to My Disney Experience using the provided booking confirmation number and surname of the lead passenger.

    With just a little faith, hope, and pixie dust your 5 Disney Resort Collection hotel bookings should soon be able to successfully link to your My Disney Experience account! 

    If this is not the case, then I suggest double-checking with the non-Disney websites where you originally made your 5 x bookings to gain the correct Resort confirmation numbers which should enable you to successfully link them to your My Disney Experience account.

    Additionally, it might be helpful to know that it's always possible to speak with a knowledgable Cast Member by dialling the UK freephone number contained within this handy Walt Disney Travel Company ~ Contact Us link.
