Hi there, Sangeeta!
Welcome to
planDisney! Thanks for stopping by as you prepare for your summer getaway to the
Most Magical Place on Earth. Your enchanting escape begins in just a few days, so let's talk about your ticket inquiry.
One of the best things about Walt Disney World
theme park tickets is their flexibility. Unused theme park tickets are not refundable, but can be
transferred to another Guest in your party or modified for future vacation dates. If a different friend plans to replace the person not joining you, you can transfer the ticket to a new traveler in your Family & Friends list in My Disney Experience instead of canceling the ticket.
Click here for a quick overview of how to add someone to your Family & Friends list.
Now, let's say my pal Donald changed his work schedule and won't be able to accompany me on my upcoming trip. I'll miss him, but luckily my friend Daisy is free! For her to use Donald's ticket and join the fun, I'll use the
My Disney Experience mobile app. I'll tap the three parallel lines in the bottom right corner of the home screen to bring up the welcome screen. Then, I'll click "My Tickets and Passes," scroll until I find Donald's ticket, and use the "Reassign Ticket" option to transfer the theme park admission to Daisy.
If no one is replacing the person who can't make it, you can save the ticket for a future visit and modify its start date on the My Disney Experience mobile app. If the ticket disappears from view, you can
call Disney or stop by Guest Relations, and a Cast Member will assist you.
I hope this is helpful, Sangeeta. Best wishes for an unforgettable adventure next week, and if there is anything planDisney can do to make it even more special, don't hesitate to reach out again.
Have a magical day,
Betsy
