    Just booked our first trip to WDW - scheduled for the end of August. I am trying to reserve character dining online and can't figure out how to access my dining plan to arrange the reservation. It just keeps asking for my credit card information.

    The credit card information that you are being asked for is a guarantee (I'm guessing you are looking at making a reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table or Akershus Royal Banquet); if you cancel your reservation less then 24 hours before the date, you will be charged a penalty.

    When you are seated at the restaurant, your waiter/waitress will ask if you are on the dining plan and then make the necessary arrangements. 

    So don't worry, it will all work out!  Congratulations on booking your new trip, too.
