We just booked our first trip to WDW!! Our daughters will be 7 and 9 when we go. I know I need to make reservations at a few places but i wanted them to help. Should I tell them this early or wait? We go in June 2013 si its 5 months away. Thank you!

    Hi Crystal,

If you want this to be a total surprise, I would make all of your Advanced Dining Reservations without your daughters input.  However, I find it fun to include my family in the planning!  If you want to dine at Be Our Guest or Cinderella's Royal Table at the Magic Kingdom, I would make reservations as soon as possible.  I know your family will love these restaurants.  Most other restaurants you can wait for a month or so to start booking.  You can always change the reservations once you have them.  Perhaps you can decide what park you want to go to on your vacation and make all the dining reservations and have your girls plan the day and the Quick Service dining so you don't need to tell them right away.  I know your vacation will be just magical, Crystal!
