We just booked our first trip to Disney! I have an 8 yr old son and 5 yr old daughter. We are going in Sept and staying at the Carribean resort. Doing the Not so Scary Halloween party, What other shows, special attractions, dining wld u suggest to not miss?

Hi Shana! Lots of questions covering many topics but will try to give a short suggestion for your upcoming trip. What I don't cover don't hesitate to ask again!

You will love the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Be sure and bring the kid's costumes and dress up yourself as that is the most fun!

Try to spend at least one day in each park so you can enjoy as many attractions as possible and also the great entertainment. Each park has their own afternoon parade with the exception of Epcot.  In the evenings you will want to make sure you see the Electric Light Parade in the Magic Kingdom which is followed by Wishes, the great fireworks show. There will be a different parade and fireworks on the evening of Mickey's Not So Scary Party.  You will also not want to miss the fantastic Illuminations show in Epcot every evening at 9pm. This one happens to be my favorite.  The last great evening show takes place in Hollywood Studios and is called Fantasmic. It is best to build this one into a dining reservation which will give you a guaranteed seat without having to wait an hour in line to enter. To see either of the fireworks shows you can book a pontoon boat for the family as a special treat.  You can also book the Tomorrowland Dessert Party in the Magic Kingdom to see the Wishes show which is fun!

Some of my favorite attractions to take my grandchildren to include: Soarin, Spaceship Earth, Test Track in Epcot; Lion King, Safari, Bugs Life, Rafiki's Planet Watch, walking trails, and Flights of Wonder, (Everest if all enjoy coasters) in Animal Kingdom; Toy Story Mania, Star Tours, and Tower of Terror and Rock n Roller Coaster for the brave in Hollywood Studios; and just about all of the Magic Kingdom!

Would love to share my dining thoughts but out of room so please ask again!
