Hey Howdy Hey Jerin and welcome to planDisney!
It is so exciting to know that your Magical vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort is just a few short weeks away! There is so much to look forward to on your upcoming trip however it sounds like we need to talk about your Advanced Dining Reservations first! Let's review the policy and access.
When making
Advanced Dining Reservations, you can start making reservations once you are 60 days from your date of arrival when staying onsite at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel or a qualifying resort. Considering you are staying at 2 separate resorts, you will have 2 separate dates from your arrival at your first resort and then your second. Currently, you will only be able to make reservations for the first reservation 60 days from your date of arrival, and then possibly 60 days from your second. You won't be able to make your reservations all at once, I am sorry to say. When you do hit the 60-day mark, reservations typically open at 6:00 AM EST. If you have high-priority reservations, make sure you are online early to have the best shot at snagging those reservations!
The other thing you might want to clear up with the Good Neighbor Hotel you are staying at is their benefits. All hotels in the Good Neighbor category are not given the same access Guests staying onsite at a Disney hotel enjoy. It would be a great idea to call your hotel and ask if you have access to Advanced Dining Reservations,
Early Theme Park Entry or anything else you may be curious about. If your hotel does not have the Advanced Dining Benefit, you will be able to make dining reservations 30 days from your date of arrival at your Good Neighbor Hotel.
This summer will be an exciting time to visit Walt Disney World. The Disney community has anxiously been awaiting the opening of the rethemed attraction,
Tiana's Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom. Social media is ripe with videos of ride testing, new lights and signage and we hopefully hear soon a more precise opening date. EPCOT has been undergoing some major reimagining for the whole park itself. While much of the park has been reopened, much more is scheduled to be completed and opened later this summer.
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana is one of the attractions that recently opened up and is a really fun and relaxing way to enjoy the various forms of water in our environment. Keep up with all the excitement and more over at
Disney Parks Blog to prepare for your next trip.
I hope this helps give you some ideas on dates and access to making dining reservations. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach back out and let us know, we are always happy to help!
Have a Magical day,
Nick
