I booked first family trip to WDW with daughter 8 and son 7 arriving Nov 23rd 2012 for 7 days I heard that this is a very busy week due to American Thanksgiving- can you please advice on parks to avoid these days.

Yeah Belinda! Your first family visit to Walt Disney World! Be prepared to have a blast zooming down Space Mountain, eating Mickey ice cream, and blasting Zorg on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin.

On Sunday, November 25 families will begin heading home, so the parks will be significantly less crowded by Monday, November 26. Consider saving the Magic Kingdom until then. I believe you will find the the week of November 25th one of the best times of the year to visit WDW. The crowds will be few, the weather mild and sunny, and the spectacular Christmas decorations will be up. Do be prepared for plenty of families out of school for Thanksgiving to be in attendance the first couple of days of your visit.

Planning a first trip to WDW can be overwhelming, so please contact me if want additional advice.
