Just booked our first ever family trip to Disney World!! While we are there my son will be celebrating his birthday. Does Disney do anything special to mark these events? Do I need to contact the anyone before hand? thank you

    Hi Katie!

Congratulations on booking your first Walt Disney World vacation! I bet you're just as excited as the kids, right? I think I'm more excited than my kids most of the time! Celebrating a birthday at Walt Disney World is extra magical. Be sure to ask for a complimentary birthday celebration button when you check into your resort. It's so much fun having Cast Members and characters wishing your child a "Happy birthday!" everywhere you go. My kids end up wearing their birthday buttons for the entire vacation, not just on the day of their birthdays, because they feel so special when wearing it.

You can also arrange for a special in-room birthday celebration from the amazing team at Disney Floral and Gifts. They create the most amazing in-room displays that are sure to make anyone's birthday extra special.

Thanks for stopping by today, Katie. I hope you'll come back and see us again as you plan your first Disney Parks vacation!

    Have a magical day,
