Hi, I have booked my first ever DW vacation for my family of 5, kids 12, 10 & 8. I have booked at the Port Orleans Riverside, is there a better part, or rooms that I should request for my family?

Hi Heddie!  Congratulations on booking your first trip to Walt Disney World!  Your family will have an amazing time at Walt Disney World!  You've picked a lovely resort in Disney's Port Orleans--Riverside; the southern charm and the lovely landscaping will have your family relaxed in no time!  To accomodate your family, my suggestions would be staying in the Alligator Bayou section.  They are currently renovating all the rooms in this section to include a Murphy-Style bed which will allow for your family to sleep comfortably.  When in the upright position, the beds tranform into a lovely bench, enabling for greater seating in the room.  Because you have booked a party of 5, you are essentially guaranteed a room with a Murphy style bed.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
