we just booked our very first Disney vacation for September, woo-hoo!! Our flight home is at 6:10 PM and I'm trying to figure out what we should do on that last day and what we'll have time for. We will have a hopper pass left. Thanks!!

Oh, Lori, you are going to have such an amazing trip to Walt Disney World. First time trips are always so special because the magic and pixie-dusted moments are brand-new and there is so much to explore.

If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel and are taking advantage of Disney's Magical Express for your transportation back to the airport, your bus will be picking you up approximately three hours prior to your flight time. This is to insure that you have enough time for transportation as well as going through security and getting to your gate with plenty of time in case there are unexpected circumstances or delays. So, this means you would probably be leaving your hotel around 3:00/3:15pm.

However, this still gives you a good portion of the day to have some last minute fun. If you do have a day on your park hopper admission, I would highly suggest hitting the park(s) that you enjoyed the most. You can ride your favorites one last time. You could always get an early start if one of the parks offers early morning Extra Magic Hours (if you are a Disney resort hotel guest).

If you'd rather try something new or different that you might not do on another day, maybe consider going for a round of miniature golf at one of 2 different places. There is Winter Summerland or Fantasia Gardens and Fairways. Another fun thing to do might be bowling at the all new Splitsville Luxury Lanes in Downtown Disney.

Have a magical vacation, it will be here before you can say "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!"
