Just booked our very first Disney trip today and the husband is already asking if HE can get out of it! What is the deadline for changing the name on a ticket and is there a fee? Luckily my twin sister is a trooper and is committing to taking his spot need

    Hi, Blair!

What? Surely I read your question wrong! Who would not want to visit Walt Disney World??! Well, his loss is your twin sister's gain!

Without knowing your ticket type, package, etc., it is hard to give you a definite answer on changing your reservation. Please call (407)934-7639 to speak to a friendly Cast Member. They can look at your reservation and let you know what your option are.

If you plan to fly, I would hold off purchasing any airline tickets, as these are often difficult to modify. If you made any Disney Dining reservations, you do not need to change names for that, as your sister can just take his place.

Hopefully this will all be a simple change. Wishing all of you a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
