We booked our first Disney trip with our kids in November. Two boys (8,4). We will have 3 full days and 2 half days bc we will get there early on arrival day and leave late on last day. Best parks for their ages and what to do first!

    Hi Keith,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Mickey and Minnie Mouse just squealed with excitement at hearing of your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Magic Kingdom is a must-do on the first day. There are a number of rides and attractions that will be perfect for your boys given their ages. Peter Pan's Flight, the Magic Carpets of Aladdin, the Barnstormer, and Tomorrowland Speedway are favorites of ours.

I suggest you spend the second day at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Disney's Hollywood Studios has a number of Star Wars Attractions that might impress your boys. One of our favorites is Jedi Training - Trials of the Temple. Should your boys desire to bring peace to the galaxy, you will need to arrive to the park before it opens. As soon as guests can enter, head to the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost. Once there, you can select a training time. Your recruits must be with you to commit to training.

Animal Kingdom and Epcot are also fantastic. At Animal Kingdom, our girls love Kilimanjaro Safaris, the Festival of the Lion King and the Boneyard play area. At Epcot, we enjoy Innoventions.

I suggest that you make Advanced Dining Reservations for Character Meals. Chef Mickey's is one of our favorites. If staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, you can book Fast Pass+ reservations 60 days in advance.

May the Force Be With You!
