Hi, I’ve just booked my first Disney Fantasy cruise, Disney Fantasy. Is there an adult package and drinks package that I can book?

    Hi, Susie!

Thank you for stopping by planDisney. I can't wait for you to experience your first Disney Cruise! I love sailing on the Disney Cruise Line because it combines my love of Disney vacations with my joy of being out on the ocean. You will have a great time!

Sodas and many other drinks are super easy to find on a Disney Cruise, and the best part is that they are complimentary. You can drink soft drinks, lemonade, tea, and coffee to your heart's content! However, Disney Cruises don't generally offer traditional alcoholic drink packages.

Instead, they often have other options that may interest you, such as a Refillable Beer Mug. Guests 21 and older can pick up a beer mug on most sailings and enjoy 21‑ounce refills for the price of a 16‑ounce pour throughout the voyage. If you would rather not keep track of the same mug during your cruise, you can usually ask for a token that can be traded in for a fresh one whenever you like. My friend Jana also recommended using a beer token to get a mug as a souvenir at the end of your trip. I love souvenirs that can be used year-round at home!

I like ordering the mug ahead of time so it’s waiting in my stateroom like a magical surprise the moment I step onboard! You can typically order it through the Onboard Gifts section of the Disney Cruise Line website or by giving them a quick call.

Wine packages are also an option if that’s something you’re interested in, and Guests 21 and older are allowed to bring two unopened bottles of wine (750 ml or less) or six beers (12 ounces each or less) in their carry‑on luggage to enjoy in their staterooms.

Many Guests also love the Beverage Tastings onboard the ship, including me! They are a lot of fun! Each sailing usually offers a mix of different tastings where you can sample several drinks while learning some cool history and behind‑the‑scenes details about them. You can book these seminars during your online check‑in window or just stop by Guest Services on embarkation day to see what is available.

Susie, have a fantastic voyage on your Disney Cruise! Please reach out to planDisney again if you have other questions!

    Happy sailing!
