Oh boy, Bradley! I'm so happy that you sailed by planDisney after booking your first Disney Cruise Line vacation.
Let's talk childcare first.
"it's a small world" nursery! can be reserved for your little one at an additional cost. You may bring sealed baby food, diapers, wipes, and extra clothing, and the trained Disney counselors will provide magical, loving care. You are able to book time when your
advance booking window opens and your cruise is paid in full. Since you are a first-time cruiser, your advance booking window will open 75 days before embarkation day. If the nursery is booked by the time your window opens, please check with the nursery once you are onboard for availability.
Onboard activities will be available for you to browse through in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you embark. One of the more popular activities for young Guests is Jack-Jack's Incredible Diaper Dash. It is exciting to see the babies crawl toward the finish line! I'm not sure which Disney Cruise Line ship you will be sailing on, but there are toddler splash zones for Guests four years and younger. On the
Disney Dream and
Fantasy, there is
Nemo's Reef. On the
Disney Wish, there is Toy Story Splash Zone. Swim diapers are required. There is also programming during the day for the younger Guests.
If you would like to experience a Port Adventure, you will need to pay attention to the minimum age to ensure your little one will be able to go. Many of the beach experiences, like the
Blue Lagoon Island Beach Day out of
Nassau, Bahamas, are available to toddlers.
Bradley, if you have any other questions, my
planDisney pals and I would love to help you plan more of your first Disney Cruise Line vacation. There is so much to do, no matter your age!
Adventure is out there!
