Hi there, Kenzie!
Planning a
first time Disney cruise? How awesome! I cannot wait for you to be introduced to
all the magic that's included with Disney Cruise Line: deck parties, fireworks at sea, Broadway-caliber musicals, and beloved Disney characters. We are so happy to have you onboard here at planDisney!
I find that booking your Disney cruise with a travel agent versus directly with Disney Cruise Line is really a matter of personal preference. When you make your reservation with a
Vacation Planning Specialist, you can work directly with Disney Cruise Line to make changes to your cruise and to make your payments. If you choose to use a travel agent, you must use the agent to make payments or changes to the reservation (like to stateroom category or sail date).
Your booking has already generated a Disney Cruise Line reservation number. So transferring the booking to a travel agent/company after it has been made should not affect your ability to
view the reservation on the Disney Cruise Line website. But you would then have to make payments through the travel agent and not directly with Disney Cruise Line.
No matter who you choose to handle your reservation, the point is: you are going on a cruise with Captain Mickey! That deserves a celebration...no, around here, we call that a SAILabration!
Drop us a line here at planDisney if you think of other planning questions. We are happy to deliver the best Disney Cruise Line advice in all the seven seas. Wishing you the most magical and memorable adventures at sea!
Happy Sailing!
Sherry
