Hi Monique!
Thanks so much for sailing back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to hEAR that you've just booked your first cruise! You and your fellow pirates are going to have a blast sailing with Captain Mickey at the helm! I can't wait for you to experience all the delicious food, fun activities and beautiful ports of call during your Bahamian adventure.
We've taken a few cruises during the month of November and loved spending a weekend in paradise away from the Chicago cold. The average November temperatures in the Bahamas range from a low of about 70 degrees to a high in the low 80's. It might feel a little chillier at night while the ship is sailing to the next destination, so I always recommend bringing a jacket or hoodie to wear on and around the deck. If you have the chance before your cruise, definitely check out the
Packing List for Disney Cruises! It will give you lots of great ideas of what to pack in your treasure chests.
One thing you won't want to leave behind is your swimsuit! The
pools aboard each Disney Cruise ship are heated to at least 75 degrees for Guests' comfort. If you plan to dip your toes into the ocean while visiting
Castaway Cay, it might feel chilly at first, but you'll be surprised how quickly you get used to it once you find your inner mermaid!
Monique, please come back and visit us again with any future questions! We're here to help make planning for your inaugural Disney Cruise a smooth-sailing experience!
