Hi there, Rose!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited for your FIRST Disney Cruise Line vacation! I know you will not be disappointed! I am glad you are planning ahead and before you know it, you will be at sea on the most magical adventure aboard the
Disney Fantasy!
I know what you mean about being uncertain about your stateroom selection. My family has been on a number of sailings, and I still second guess my selection each time! Here are the things I can suggest you consider –although I think you’ve selected a great location as it is! I always look at a
deck plan to see what is above AND below a stateroom. If you think you may go to bed earlier, then you may not want to be directly under the lounge areas since those locations are open pretty late at night! Midship elevators are typically the most used on the ship, so sometimes being closer to the forward or aft elevators would be a consideration to think about. But midship puts you close to everything and is very convenient to get place to place! I really think you can’t go wrong with any stateroom selection – after all, you will likely only be in there for sleeping hours!
I am so glad that you are planning ahead for your trip. When your Online Check-In window opens, you will be prepared and ready to book your Port Adventures, your adult dining reservations and maybe even some time at the spa! As a first time cruiser, your window will open 75 days prior to sailing, so I always set a reminder on my calendar for that day!
Take my advice and when you are finding yourself not wanting vacation to end, be sure to visit the Future Cruising Desk and book your next sailing!
Happy Sailing!
