We are booked for February and I will not receive my veteran ID card in time for travel or hopefully I will, but my question is what other form of proof of service is accepted. I want to book the discount tickets.

    Bonjour!

Welcome to planDisney, Emma! Thank you for visiting us with your first question! We are all here to help fellow Guests plan the perfect holiday to Disney destinations around the world! It looks like your next trip is planned for Disneyland Paris in just a couple of weeks’ time, it’s time to pack those suitcases!

Special Rate Military Tickets are available exclusively to active and retired military personnel with a government-issued military ID from the UK, USA, or France. These tickets can be booked directly through the Disneyland Paris website. They are super flexible and can be cancelled up to three days before your visit. The tickets are offered as two-day, two-park tickets and are heavily discounted when compared to standard pricing.

The Disneyland Paris website notes that the discount applies to active and retired military personnel. I checked with a Cast Member, who confirmed that veterans must be retired and in receipt of a military pension to qualify for the discount. Veterans who have returned to civilian life and are not receiving a pension would not be eligible.

If your status is eligible, there is not a specific list of documents that is accepted, but they will need to see government-issued proof of status. Another option you could consider is booking a Hotel + Ticket Package. These are not eligible for any military discounts, as they already feature heavily discounted park tickets. You can find some great value booking this way, plus you will receive all the benefits of staying at a Disney Hotel, such as Extra Magic Time, your key to entering the Disney Parks before the official park opening time!

Sorry I haven’t been able to answer your question as fully as I would have liked, Emma, but I hope it helps you to plan your trip. However you end up booking your visit to Disneyland Paris, I hope you have a magical visit! As you continue to plan, please reach out to me with any questions. I’d love to help!

    See ya real soon!
