I am booked on the Fantasy Feb 22, 2020 & traveling w/my best friend's family who has a 4 yrs old. I'm browsing tours for our ports but everything I am researching states minimum age is 5, 9 or 10 yrs old. Is there nothing for youngsters?

    Hi there, Tina Marie!

Ahoy and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am so excited that you sailed by with your question about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation!  I have yet to go on a Star Wars Day at Sea voyage, but I know it’s going to soon be on our “to do list” now that my boys have discovered ALL THINGS Star Wars!

One thing that is great about cruising with Captain Mickey is that there are truly things for all ages to enjoy, but that being said, there are pretty strict age requirements when it comes to many of the excursions offered through Port Adventures.  While there are definitely more options for older children to participate in, hopefully I can give you some suggestions that would accommodate all Guests in your travel party!  My family has sailed through the Caribbean on more than one occasion when my boys were preschool-age and while we were limited as to what we could choose from, we did manage to find some excellent excursions that we ALL enjoyed!

First off, any beach day is a great day – for all ages!  Secret Sands Beach Getaway (ST57) or Magens Bay Beach Break (ST27) in St. Thomas are great options as is Beach Express (TT68) in Tortola!  Or, you can also grab a taxi once off the ship and ask the driver to take you to the best beach they have!  Just make sure you plan to get back to the ship well before your “All Aboard” time!  Another option that I can highly recommend is Coral World Ocean Park by Land and Sea (ST34) which is a fun and interactive place to explore life “under the sea”!  We have visited Coral World Ocean Park on multiple occasions and always had a great time and experienced different and new things each time!  As for your day at Castaway Cay, you can simply set out for a day on the beach and if you are looking for some time at the adults-only beach, Serenity Bay, the island’s Youth Club, Scuttles Cove is open for Mouseketeers!

Also know that Disney Cruise Line’s Port Adventure team is always adding new and exciting adventures for Guests, so keep your eyes out for new excursions that may become available as your voyage approaches!

Wishing you a FANTAStic and memorable adventure at sea!

    Happy Sailing!
