Julie from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have booked the Fantasmic! Dining Package and the Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace for the same day. Is it physically possible to do both? Fantasmic ends at about 9:30 and Wonderous Journeys starts at about 9:35. I'm concerned.

Greetings, Julie, and welcome to planDisney! I love that dining packages are on your radar – they're a great way to add a little extra magic to the park's amazing entertainment offerings. Now, let's talk about the logistics for seeing both Fantasmic! and Wondrous Journeys on the same night.

Julie, the Rivers of America (where Fantasmic! comes to life) is on the opposite side of the park from Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace. I'd guess it takes 10 minutes to walk from one to the other, and potentially a little more time if the walkways are busy. Also, the Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace experience is available from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. – if you don't arrive until 9:30 p.m., you wouldn't be taking full advantage of what the dining package offers. For these reasons, I wouldn't recommend having both dining packages on the same night.

    Let's go over some options:

    • Keep the Fantasmic! Dining Package: Did you know you can watch the fireworks from the Rivers of America? The fountains create the perfect setting for the projections. So, after watching Fantasmic!, you could stay where you are and watch Wondrous Journeys!
    • Keep the Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace Dining Package: As I mentioned above, you can head into this experience early. Enjoy snacks, desserts, unlimited soft drinks, and more. You could even walk over to the Rivers of America after to catch the second Fantasmic! show at 10:30 p.m. In my experience, it's been easier to walk up and get a good spot for the second show.
    • Try for a second showing dining package: There are Fantasmic! dining packages for the second show at 10:30 p.m. That could be a best-of-both-worlds scenario for you. In this case, you'd want to cancel your existing reservation and make a new reservation for the "2nd Show" when making a selection.
You really can't go wrong with any of these options, Julie. Just be sure to make any changes within the cancellation window of your reservations. Soon, you'll be in awe of Mickey as the Sorcerer's Apprentice and delight in the storytelling of Wondrous Journeys – it will be the perfect way to end a day at Disneyland.

Julie, I hope you have a fantastic time visiting the Happiest Place on Earth. If you think of any other questions, please reach out – we're always happy to help here at planDisney!
