Hi Catherine! Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
It sounds like you have a wonderful evening planned at
Disney's Hollywood Studios! The
Fantasmic! Dessert & VIP Viewing Experience will be such a magical way to end your day.
Since there is no charge for your 2 year old, she will not receive her own box. The expectation for children age 2 and under is that they will share from your plate. The treat box portions are pretty generous, and more than I personally would want to consume in one sitting, so there should be plenty to share. However, as a mom of four myself, I completely understand that your toddler may want her OWN!
I have a couple of ideas for you. You could stop earlier in the day and pick up some treats for your toddler to enjoy during
Fantasmic! Perhaps a special cupcake, cookie, or Mickey-shaped Rice Krispie treat will do the trick. There are also concession stands within the amphitheater that sell snacks like popcorn and ice cream novelties. Another idea might be to take along an empty plastic container, and fill it with a few items from the other treat boxes. If you anticipate that she will not be happy unless she has the
exact same box as her siblings, I would call the Disney Dining Line at (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463 to add another child box to your reservation. Honestly, at the end of a long day, it may be worth the additional cost to avoid a toddler meltdown!
I hope that helps! Please stop by the Moms Panel again with any additional questions you may have as you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Have a wonderful visit!
