I just booked my family's first trip to Disney for March 15-23, 2014. We are staying at Port Orleans-French Quarter. My kids are really looking forward to swimming in the pool, but now I'm concerned it might be too cold. Is it too cold to swim then?

    Hi Tawny,

The swimming pools at Disney are heated to 82 degrees year round. The average high temperature in Orlando in March is 78 degrees. Of course, we are talking about weather, which is completely unpredictable. However, you are visiting during Spring Break and historically that is a beautiful, warm time of year to visit. We were at Disney World last February and my kids swam every day.

I hope this helps and that you have a wonderful vacation,
