Hi there! Booked my family’s first Disney Cruise for April 2023, aboard the Fantasy, departing from Port Canaveral. As concierge-level guests, we’ll be among the first to board. Wondering what time we should plan to check in and expect to get on the ship?

Hello there, Joanne and welcome to planDisney, we're so glad you stopped by!

Congratulations, you're going on a Disney Cruise Line vacation! As one of two fellow Canadians on planDisney, I would like to thank you for consulting us for your future Disney cruise and you picked my favourite ship in the fleet, the Disney Fantasy - Joanne, you're in for the vacation of a lifetime!

Joanne, I can't wait for the temporary pause to be lifted for the current procedure of selecting Port Arrival times in the future as a Platinum level Castaway Club member, especially in thinking of my upcoming back-to-back sailings on the newest ship in the fleet, the Disney Wish in a few months. I highly recommend you continuously refer to Disney Cruise Line's - Know Before You Go resource for any changes to Port Arrival procedures to be prepared as procedures for boarding are a little different right now. Hopefully, by the time of your voyage, all will be back to the way it was - fingers crossed for you!

    Please Note:
Currently, as soon as your balance is paid off, and your Castaway Club advance booking window opens, you will need to complete your Online Check-in 30 days before your sail date to complete the necessary cruise documentation and to select your Port Arrival Time - all Guests are required to complete this process prior to arriving at the Port at this time.

    Tips:
Download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App and kindly enable the notifications and location settings to optimize the use of the app. The app will come in handy for managing most of your plans before and during your sailing, it will enable you to book premium activities not included in your cruise fare, you will be able to communicate with fellow cruise mates and even communicate online with onboard teams and Guest Services via the live chat feature.

I recommend perusing over the Disney Cruise Line Professional Photography packages, some will present you with a decent saving if pre-purchased in advance of your sailing date.

Joanne, it was my great pleasure assisting you today. I hope this information serves you well and I would be honoured to be of any further help in the near future, thank you kindly!

    Best Disney Wishes!
    Jacqueline
