Hi, Aisha! Welcome to planDisney.
Cinderella’s Royal Table is one of those experiences you’ll remember forever. You’re not just dining in the castle, you’re dining like royalty! From the moment you’re greeted in the Grand Hall to the moment your little ones meet their favorite Disney Princesses right at the table, it’s pure storybook bliss. The views from the stained glass windows are stunning too. It’s the perfect place for a family to slow down and soak in the fairytale.
Now, I totally get why your kids are excited about the
Festival of Fantasy Parade. It’s colorful, upbeat, and packed with favorite characters sailing by on amazing floats. The fire-breathing dragon is always a crowd favorite. If it’s your first visit, this parade is one of those “must-see” moments, especially when you get a good spot on Main Street, U.S.A.
That said, I can see how the time change might feel a little stressful. A 2:00 PM reservation at Cinderella’s Royal Table might cut it close with the 3:00 PM parade. Dining there usually takes about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes, so depending on how quickly you’re seated and how the meal flows, you may miss part or all of the parade. If the parade is a top priority, I’d recommend trying to modify your reservation for an earlier time if there’s availability. You can keep checking the
My Disney Experience app. Openings do pop up, but if it doesn’t work out, maybe plan to catch the parade on another day, if you plan on being back in Magic Kingdom Park.
Pro tip: If you do end up missing the parade, swing by the hub grass in front of Cinderella Castle a little before sunset and grab a snack or treat. Let the kids run around a bit while you all wait for
Happily Ever After. The view is so amazing, the whole family will be talking about it long after your royal coach returns home.
I hope that's helpful, Aisha. See ya real soon!
Mike
