Hi, I just booked our family vacation to include a dining plan. If we want to change the type of plan we have, can we do that? How?

    Hi Michelle,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for sending us your question.  I am so excited that you have booked your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation, you are going to make some magical memories that will last a lifetime!

One of the best parts of planing a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation is that they are completely customizable and can be easily modified to suit the needs of your family.  In order to change your Disney Dining Plan you will need to call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and speak to a Cast Member.  The phone number is (407) 939-1936.  The Cast Member will give you the options available as well as the difference in cost associated with the changes.  I like to make my changes as early as possible just to make sure I am getting exactly what I want.  In my experience, It has taken anywhere from a few minutes to several hours for the changes to be updated in My Disney Experience.  If you don’t see your changes 48 hours after you have made them, I would recommend calling back to double check, just in case.  You will also receive an email with your updates, which I like to keep, just so that I do have a confirmation of what we changed.

I hope you have a wonderful visit at Walt Disney World Resort, Michelle.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
