We just booked our family trip to Disney for January 2015 and it included the meal plan. I need to eat gluten free and I do not see many options at the property/park resturants. Do you know if I will have trouble eating? Than you.

    Hi Noel!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking such an important question.  Disney takes food allergies and accommodations very seriously and in my opinion, they go out of their way to make sure every guest is fully taken care of and doesn't feel left out.  Just last month I was vacationing with my family and I was really impressed with the options and the level of service we received when notifying both quick-service and table-service locations about our gluten allergy.  For most of our table-service visits, I had made advanced reservations and had noted the allergy.  When we were seated, a chef would come out and ask a few questions regarding the allergy and let us know what modifications would be made or what items were safe to order.  At counter-service locations we would simply inquire about options with the Cast Members taking our order and they would then have a chef come out and assist us in picking items that were gluten-free.  I can honestly tell you that never once did the gluten-free member of our party feel limited in their choices.  In fact, on more than one occasion the rest of us were trying to pick off of their plate!

I am confident you will have no trouble eating and will really enjoy your gluten-free choices.  If there is anything else I may assist you with or if you'd like some dining recommendations, please send me another question.  Have a wonderful vacation, Noel. Bon appetite!

    Magical Wishes,
