Hi! I just booked my family of six for 2 weeks in November. Im told I should book reservations right away but I cant find a schedule for early park hours. Do all parks open early? I thought I saw that it was select parks on select days?

    Hello, Cailin!

Welcome back to planDisney! I am thrilled to see that you will be returning to the Walt Disney World Resort this fall to join in the 50th Anniversary Celebration. Yes, the Golden Anniversary Celebration runs for a full 18-months, allowing everyone to join in the fun. My favorite part of the celebration is Disney’s Fab 50 Character Collection. You will find 50 golden sculptures across all 4 theme parks. They make great photo ops and they don’t mind posing for selfies. Can you find them all?

One of the added perks of staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel during the World’s Most Magical Celebration is that you can take advantage of 30-minute early entry for all Disney Theme Parks. So there is no need to try to figure out which park is opening early because you will magically be allowed to enter 30-minutes before the scheduled park opening.

Guests of Disney Deluxe Resorts or Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts will have the option of Extended Evening Hours, currently offered at the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, on select nights with a schedule that is subject to change. More dates will be added to the schedule soon. If you are a guest at a Deluxe Resort and you have the Park Hopper Option added to your tickets, you can visit one of these parks for the Extended Evening Hours, as early as 2:00 PM.

I recommend that you make your Disney Park Pass reservations as soon as possible. Since the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort, all theme parks are operating at limited capacity. I recommend that you make your reservations now so that you can visit the first park of your choice each day. To make your reservations in the My Disney Experience Mobile app, tap the + sign at the bottom center of your screen and choose to Make a Park Reservation. Select the Theme Park Tickets button, and sign in to your account to begin. Create your party by selecting everyone who will be visiting the park with you and clicking continue. Next, choose the date and theme park you are planning to visit and confirm your selection. You will be sent a confirmation email of your plans. Repeat this process for each day that you are planning to visit a theme park. Remember if you have the Park Hopper Option added to your tickets, you only need to reserve your first park of the day.

If you have any more questions before you arrive or if you are looking for recommendations on dining locations, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
