We booked the family Magic Tour @ MK. We have DS 8&4 .Any tips for getting the most out of this tour? This will be our 3rd visit in 4yEARS but 1st time doing a tour. So excited!!! Love the panel. Thanks for your help!

Greetings, Melinda and how exciting that you have booked the Family Magic Tour for you and your family! Considering the ages of your children, I must say you have booked the perfect tour since the recommended age range for this experience is 8-10.  This highly interactive tour of the Magic Kingdom is totally tailored for and geared towards younger children but there's lots of fun for the parents too!

My best advice would be to encourage your children to interact with the tour guide every chance they get. The Family Magic Tour presents many opportunities for your child to play a huge part in solving a Disney Mystery and there will be great character interaction to top it all off!  Some other tips:  Have your little ones take a bathroom break prior to checking in for your tour.  You don't want to miss anything by stopping along the way.  Keep in mind that the tour will depart rain or shine, so be sure to dress accordingly and bring an umbrella if necessary. I would also advise packing a light snack for younger Disney sleuths... Although the Family Magic Tour is only 2 hours in duration, my little one is always hungry so it is very helpful to have something handy for her to munch on so we don't have to miss anything while running to find a snack! It is also a good idea to bring your autograph books because you never know who you might run into on your special quest.  Finally, my last tip for getting the most out of your tour is have your camera ready at all times to capture any magical moments as they happen!

Here is a great post from fellow panelist Erin outlining her experience with the Family Magic Tour!

I hope you have an amazing time on your quest to save the Magic Kingdom on your Family Magic Tour!  If I can be of further assistance, please let me know! -Amanda
