Booked my family first vacay to DW 7/15-7/21 at AOA just tickets and hotel rm should I expect anything in the mail? Does this vacation package include anything? Could u help wit an itnerary for us have daughter 7 son 2 thanks in advance

Hi Shenell! You will love the new Art of Animation resort at Walt Disney World. The Imagineers certainly gave the guests some special touches such as the main pool......take time to play at the resort during your stay!

I am assuming you booked a package through Disney and did this on line or by phoning the reservation center. You will receive confirmation in the mail for this vacation and if there is anything that is needed to be sent ahead of time you will get that about two weeks prior to your arrival date. Otherwise, everything you need will be waiting for you upon check-in at your resort. About a week out I suggest you do the on line check-in so your packet is waiting for you and the time in line is shortened for your family.

You are coming during the warm months in Florida so I always suggest you use the hottest part of the day to rest and enjoy the pools. You will be there enough days to hit each park for a day and suggest Magic Kingdom twice as your children's ages will find much to do in that park. Use your arrival and departure day to explore Downtown Disney or resorts and head to bed early so you can start your park day fresh.

Try to get up early and be at the parks at opening and if there is Extra Magic Hours in a park try to take advantage of that. If you have park hopper option you can leave and visit another park for the rest of the day. Extra Park Hours in a park will add crowds for the day but those special times early and late give resort guests shorter lines to the popular attractions. You will want to add dining reservations once you know what park you wish to do on each day. There is so much more information to share but no space to do this for you. Please ask again so we can get more specific with an itinerary for your family!
