Hi, I have booked my family on the alaskan cruise and am wondering if there will be any covered pools for the trip... it might be a little cold for little ones swimming in alaska in may. thanks,

    Hi there fellow B.C. neighbor!

How lucky you are to be sailing on the Disney Wonder to Alaska in May...you must be so excited.  I have sailed on the Disney Wonder (but from Port Canaveral to the Bahamas) and I am sure you will love this beautiful ship. The Disney Wonder has 3 pools, Goofy's Pool, Mickey's Pool and Quiet Cove Pool (for adults only...ages 18+). None of these pools are covered, but on my recent cruise last year to Alaska on another Cruise line (at the end of August) it was very chilly, the pool was heated and my daughter and I were still able to swim quite comfortably, with a quick dip in the hot tub to warm up once in a while.  All 3 pools on the Disney Wonder will be heated if the temperature drops below 75 degrees Fahrenheit and there are always hot tubs to sit in as well.  There are deck chairs and tables located very nearby the pools which are in covered areas.

Make sure to take advantage of the Kids Clubs onboard the Disney Wonder, they are spectacular and your kids will have a blast! (they will be able to make flubber, one of my daughter's favorite things).  Have a most magical time and Bon Voyage!

    Best wishes,
