Hi, Michael! Thanks for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!
I am so excited that you will be visiting the Happiest Place on Earth in just a few short months! Since you have your theme park tickets in-hand, you can certainly scan them into the
Disneyland app now if you wish. This will keep them linked to your account and safe should the physical tickets become misplaced. When you are linking each ticket, be sure to add a name. This will help you know which ticket belongs to whom when you are in the parks. If you don't add names at this step, you won't be able to add them later. One bonus tip: you can use the tickets in the app to gain entry into the parks if you don't want to pull out your physical tickets each time.
To purchase and use
Disney MaxPass, you will need to actually be inside one of the parks. Once you have entered either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, you can bring up the app, select "Get FASTPASS with Disney MaxPass," and then tap "Continue to Purchase." Since your tickets will already be linked to the app, you will see your FASTPASS party already listed. If you need to modify your party, you can add or remove people at this step. Follow the prompts to complete the purchase and then you are free to select your first FASTPASS! With your Park Hopper tickets you can select a FASTPASS for an attraction in either park, no matter which park you are currently enjoying. MaxPass is going to save you so much time and energy that I know you will love it as much as I do!
I would love to help you with any other questions you may have, so please stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel again!
