Greetings Patricia and welcome to planDisney!
I am so excited to hear that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in just over a month. Now is a great time to visit because you will be able to take part in the
50th Anniversary Celebration of the Walt Disney World Resort. I am sure that you are putting the finishing touches on your fabulous vacation.
Guests can easily access the information in My Disney Experience by using
Disney MagicMobile. This new service allows guests with iOs devices to store a pass in their Apple Wallet. To set up a MagicMobile pass open the My Disney Experience mobile app and tap the 3 horizontal lines in the lower right corner. Select the
Disney MagicMobile button from the menu. Select the Guests that you want to create a pass for, from the list of eligible Guests. Customize the pass for each party member and then save them to your Apple Wallet. Once your passes have been saved, they can be shared with other members of your family using iMessage. These passes can now be linked to their smartphone or Apple Watch devices. Pro Tip: Guests who manage their own My Disney Experience accounts, should make their own Disney MagicMobile passes.
Disney MagicMobile passes can be used to access theme park admission and so much more. You can add PhotoPass Photos to your
Memory Maker account, redeem
Lightning Lane experiences. If you are a Guest of a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can open the door to your hotel room and charge food and merchandise to your room account. They can be used just like a MagicBand or admission card. If you should happen to lose your phone during your trip, see a member of the Guest Services team in the parks right away.
If you are looking for a great way to end your day in the Magic Kingdom, I recommend finding a spot along Main Street U.S.A. to watch
Disney Enchantment. This is a new nighttime spectacular created just for the 50th Anniversary Celebration. It combines a unique mix of pyrotechnics and projections on Cinderella Castle and Main Street U.S.A. This is all set to a new soundtrack of your favorite Disney Movie Theme Songs arranged specifically for the celebration.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
