    Hi we have booked for end of Feb 19 through till the first week in March. My son is a HUGE fan of lighting mcqueen are there any dates out for the new show/experience? Am desperately hoping that 'early 2019' means we will get to see it! 😀

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question! My little guy is a big Lightning McQueen fan, too and I’m really looking forward to experiencing Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy with him. 

    Unfortunately, I don’t have any other information about when it’s going to be open, beyond “Early 2019”. I’m hoping it will be open during our upcoming visit, too, so I would recommend watching the Disney Parks Blog during the weeks leading up to your vacation. That’s where you’ll find the most up-to-date information about all of the new and exciting happenings at Walt Disney World Resort. 

    And if your little guy is a huge Cars fan, be sure to go walk around Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. There are lots of icons of his favourite characters in the Resort’s “Cars” section and he’s sure to love seeing his pals!
