We are booked in to eat at Saana for a lunch how do we get to book a seat near the window to watch the animals, can this be done in advance or just when we arrive?

Hello Rebecca! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When my family stayed at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village a couple of years ago, we ate at Sanaa Restaurant on our first night and fell in love with the the food, the atmosphere and the entire experience.

We booked Advanced Dining Reservations for 2 additional meals at Sanaa for that trip and are trying to figure out a way to get back to Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village for a repeat experience. During one of our meals, we ate in front of the windows overlooking the Sunset Savanna. When it began to rain, my kids were able to have the full attention of a impala that was using the alcove for shelter for our entire meal.  It was an Endlessly Magical experience.

As far as obtaining a coveted seat by the windows at Sanaa, you will have to be lucky or patient. There is no way to make Advanced Dining Reservations for specific tables at a Dining Location such as Sanaa Restaurant.

During off-peak times, you may get lucky and a table in front of the window will be available. If one is not available immediately and you are willing to wait, tell the Cast Members and they will generally do all they can to seat you near the windows as soon as they can. Cast Members know that seats in front of the windows overlooking Sunset Savanna are a major draw and a major reason some Guests choose to dine at Sanaa.

    Enjoy the View!
