I booked DVC for my family, including kid nieces. My nieces' hotel and magicband are managed under my account. My sister has their park and party tix already linked under her account. How can I link my nieces' tickets with the hotel and magicband?

Hi there, Cameron! Welcome to planDisney and Welcome Home! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with such a great vacation planning question. It's so fun to chat with a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member!

In just a couple of weeks, you and your family will be arriving at your fabulous DVC Resort, ready to begin your pixie-dusted adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth! How fun and exciting! One of the things I love the most about my DVC Membership is being able to bring my sister and nieces along on my Disney vacations, and we always have the best time and laugh until our cheeks hurt. I'm so excited for you to make your own magical memories oh-so-soon, so let's tie up your loose planning ends.

To make sure that your nieces' MagicBands are properly linked to their theme park tickets, you will have to be linked to the Guest who manages their plans - your sister. So, first, log in to your My Disney Experience website or app and make sure that your sister's My Disney Experience account is properly linked and that she is listed as a Guest on your Family & Friends list. If her official My Disney Experience Guest name is not listed, have your sister log in to her My Disney Experience app, tap the three-line menu icon at the bottom, tap "My Profile" and then "Show My Linking Code." This will pull up a temporary QR code, so have her screenshot the code and send it to you within 30 minutes or less. Then, you can just follow the steps to link, and ... Bibbidi bobbidi boo! Your sister will magically appear on your Family & Friends list!

Now, to manage plans for your young nieces, you will have to click "Add a Guest" at the bottom of your Friends & Family list. Do this by selecting either "Find through my Connected Guests" or if your sister is linked to the Resort reservation, "Import from a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation." Your sister will then have to allow you access to manage her girls' plans and photos, but once that is all complete, you should be good to go! Just check to see if the MagicBands and tickets are assigned to the right kiddos. If the tickets need to be reassigned to the proper child's name, go ahead and reassign them.

If you have any issues making sure that the proper tickets are linked to the proper MagicBands, I suggest reaching out to a helpful Cast Member with My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ at (407) 939-4357.

I hope this was helpful, Cameron, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable vacation with your family! Please stop by any time with any planning or DVC questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!

    See ya REAL soon!
