    We have booked the dolphin swim at Blue Lagoon in Nassau. On the Disney Cruise site it says it is a four hour trip. Will we be able to stay at Blue Lagoon Island longer if we want to? Or do we have to take the assigned boat back?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your adventure at sea is fast approaching and I know you are eagerly preparing for all the fun you will have!  

    I am so pleased you are thinking ahead about your Port Adventures!  I always enjoy researching and planning as early as possible for our excursions so that once I am on the ship, I can sit back, relax and wait for the amazing Port Adventures staff to tell me when and where to go!

    The Blue Lagoon Dolphin Swim will be an exciting adventure for your family!  My family has visited Blue Lagoon previously and had a relaxing day on the beautiful beach and in a few years when my boys are old enough we will most definitely take a swim with the dolphins!  The four hour excursion will mainly consist of your dolphin experience once you arrive at Blue Lagoon via ferry.  If you reserve the 9:30AM Dolphin Swim you DO have the option to stay at Blue Lagoon and take a later ferry back to the ship.  If this is an option you want to do, I recommend booking your Port Adventure as soon as your booking window opens and reserving the 9:30AM departure.

    While you are exploring your Port Adventures, remember that Castaway Cay has many fun experiences as well including parasailing, stingray encounters and snorkeling.  If you prefer a more relaxing day, rent a float and relax on the beach with your ship as your visual backdrop, not forgetting an extra large cookie with lunch!
