Hey, howdy, hey, Samantha!
We are so grateful for the
Disneyland Resort Disability Access Service (DAS). I’ve just been through the
DAS Advance process for my family too. We are very pleased with how easy the process is and how caring and understanding the Cast Members have been on both video chat and text chat messages.
In most cases, a
theme park reservation is all that is needed in order for you to register for DAS Advance with your
Vacation Package reservation. If you haven’t already, be sure to log into your Disneyland Resort account and
link your Vacation Package using your reservation or confirmation number, last name, and arrival date. Then make sure you
book theme park reservations using the “Retrieve Hotel Reservation” button.
Between two and 30 days before your arrival, you may visit the
DAS Advance page to register. First, use the “Terms & Conditions” button to review and agree to the rules regarding DAS. Then go back and use the “Request Live Video Chat” during regular business hours to enter the queue for registration. You’ll need to make sure that the Guest requesting DAS is on hand for the video chat portion.
Tony’s Tip: The DAS self-selection tool in the
Disneyland mobile app also works well with making
Lightning Lane selections using the
Disney Genie+ service. With both services, you can also start to make your next attraction selection as soon as you check in for your return time. It’s a great way to pack in even more attractions in your day. Just last week, our family used Genie+ along with DAS to experience 34 attractions in one day! Of course, it was a very exciting and tiring day. So you may wish to choose a pace that works best for you.
I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Samantha. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
