Zachary from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We booked our DisneyLand trip thru Costco. We booked it for 2 days 1 park per day, but now we would like to customize it by doing a park hopper tickets. Are we able to do that. Or are we locked into what we ordered?

Hiya, Zachary! Thanks for swingin’ by planDisney with your question. You must be so incredibly excited for your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Our family has booked a few Disneyland Resort packages through Costco Travel over the past several years, and in my experience, anytime we needed to make a change we were advised to contact Costco Travel instead of Disneyland Resort Guest Services. I suggest looking through your confirmation email for any information on modifications to your vacation package, or you can visit the Costco Travel website’s help center. My guess is you will be able to upgrade your tickets, but you’ll likely have to make the upgrade through Costco Travel directly.

Park hopping is a great idea, especially since the two theme parks are so close to one another. The price to upgrade a ticket to a park hopper is the same, regardless of the number of days on your ticket, so it’s a great deal when you apply the park hopper feature to a multi-day ticket! If you haven’t already purchased the Disney Genie+ service, you can add that after you enter the theme park. My family used Disney Genie+ for the first time in December and we are hooked – the ability to move quickly through Lightning Lanes and reduce wait times in queues is a cosmic power we could get used to!

If you haven't already, you can link your vacation package to your Disneyland account using the Disneyland mobile app or on the website. This way you can see your tickets, theme park reservations, hotel reservations and dining reservations all in one place.

Zachary, since your trip is still a month away, you may be able to snag some good dining reservations if you haven’t already. I find using the Disneyland mobile app to be the most convenient way to search for reservations – and if you can’t find what you want, keep checking, as Guests’ plans do change and the table you want might just magically become available.

I hope your visit is covered in pixie dust and magic. Stop by with any other planning questions, we’re hEAR for you!
