Joanna from Hertfordshire Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I've booked Disneyland tickets on the website with park reservations. My tickets appear on the Disney app but not the Q-codes for the date reservation. Can I add these to the app or do I have to bring print out of the Q-code email to the park?

Hiya Joanna! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so happy to see that you are getting all of your pixie-dusted logistics in a row for your summer trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!

You are correct that you will need both your theme park ticket barcode and the theme park reservation QR code to scan into the parks. I'm relieved to hear you have secured both as this is a new system for some Guests and reservations can be limited at times! As you discovered, only the tickets and ticket barcodes show up in your Disneyland Mobile App under "Tickets and Passes". The app currently does not have a place to store the reservation QR codes - I wish I could wave my magic wand at this one and make it so!

You do have a few options for keeping track of your QR code. As you suggested, you can bring a good, old-fashioned printout with you. You can also pull up the email from your smartphone and have the Cast Member scan it from the email directly! I like to create a folder for each visit in my email account with any relevant information. This is where I would store my reservation confirmation email. It makes it quick to find when you're so excited at those Main Entrance Gates, and you won't have to worry about fumbling through your phone! If for some reason you can't find the email, Hakuna Matata! You can easily have the QR code re-emailed to you through the Disneyland Mobile App. Navigate to "Future Plans" and click on your reservation. Scroll down to the specific day you need and click "Re-Send QR code". This will send a fresh email to the top of your inbox!

Joanna, did you know dining reservations will open up to you in just a few short weeks? You can start booking some favorite restaurants and maybe some new experiences 60 days prior. I have to put in a little Mickey-shaped plug for the new World of Color Dessert Party. My fellow panelist Carrie and I met at Disneyland last week to take in the return of this beloved show and we were blown away! You can make reservations the same way you make a dining reservation, and while you will need to pay in advance, you still have the flexibility to cancel up to one day ahead if your plans need to change. Imagine this: SEATED, preferred viewing, a plate of the most delicious, rainbow-inspired sweets and treats (and some cheese and crackers for a savory bite!), sprinkle-rimmed cocktails or endless cups of coffee to keep your Disney energy high, and the best view of one of the most spectacular nighttime shows at the Disneyland Resort! There are two dessert parties each night aligned with the two performances. When you check in, you will be asked if you'd like a front, low-top table or a back high-top table ... take the high-top! It will give you a great view over the crowds in front of you! And if you have little ones with you, they get a special rainbow glow sipper that was the envy of ALL the adults at our table! Then, sit back and let that Disney magic take over!

I hope you have a wonderful trip, Joanna! If you have any more dreams ... I mean, questions ... that need answering, you know where to find us! We are always here for you at planDisney

    Keep wishing on those stars,
    Tara
