Welcome to planDisney, Patti!
I'm so glad you came to us with your question! A double
birthday pool party sounds like a wonderful way to celebrate your two princes. I completely understand how important it is to make their celebration as magical as can be about the pool. So let's get you the information you need to make sure this party is still on!
I just spoke with Maggie, a friendly Cast Member at the hotel, who shared some great news: Although the two
Monorail Waterslides are set for refurbishment starting January 8th, the rest of the pool will remain open for guests like you and your crew. So, the party can still make a splash, and your favorite Mouseketeers can enjoy the water to their hearts' content!
And Patti, have you heard about the
all-new splash pad themed after 'Steamboat Willie' on The Villas of the Disneyland Hotel? I've been dying to have my little guy visit that
Palette Pool. As a Disneyland Hotel guest, you'll have full access to this area even if you are not booked at The Villas! That's like unlocking an extra dimension of fun for the birthday boys!
To add an extra sprinkle of magic to the celebration, you'll have access to the slides at
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Picture this – a 90-foot-long waterslide curving around a giant Redwood tree stump at the
Redwood Pool. Talk about thrills! With all of these watery options, you and your cast of characters are bound to have more fun than a
Motunui splashing about!
I hope this news brings a wave of excitement, Patti! If you need
more tips or have any more questions as you plan this epic birthday getaway, just
gimme a shout– now that you've got a friend in me, you can expect lightning-fast replies.
Happy New Year,
Danielle
