Hello! We just booked a Disney World trip for August 2024. Is it too late to receive the free dining plan for Disney plus members? Thank you!

    Hi Tara!

Welcome to planDisney! I’m glad you stopped by to be part of our world! Like Ursula, I’ve always been a girl with an eye for a bargain. . .especially when it comes to planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

Unfortunately, the sun has set on the free dining offer for Disney+ subscribers, but I hope that you were able to take advantage of another great special offer when you booked your trip! If you booked a vacation package, you can still add the Disney Dining Plan or the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan.  Even when paying for one of the dining plans, we still find it to be a great option when it comes to convenience, flexibility, and cost savings!

Tara, whether you choose to add a dining plan or not, don't forget that you can start making your dining reservations 60 days before your arrival for your entire length of stay if you're a Disney Resorts Collection guest.  Recently, Disney also unveiled an update to My Disney Experience which allows you to search for available dining times at your favorite restaurants over several days!  Once you enter your initial search, you can click on "Check Availability for Multiple Days" under a restaurant to see all available times during your stay.  I love it!  This is available both on the website and on your My Disney Experience Mobile App.

I hope you enjoy making magical memories at Walt Disney World Resort this summer!  Please stop by planDisney again if you have any other vacation planning questions in the future!
