Hi Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm so excited about your upcoming stay at the
Walt Disney World Resort! October is a wonderful time to visit as autumn has just begun and the weather starts to become a bit milder. You'll find plenty of festive decorations and tasty snacks around the parks and resorts to help usher in the Halloween season.
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is held on select nights all the way to Halloween night. With it being such a popular event, tickets do sell out fast. As of today, all of the upcoming parties are sold out. Now I know this is not the news that you wanted to hear, but I will suggest stopping by
Guest Relations at the Magic Kingdom Park upon your arrival. You never know when some Disney magic or pixie dust will come your way!
Since there are no party tickets available at this time, I have a couple of suggestions that may help you get in the Halloween spirit. There are several treats and snacks available at any time of the day throughout the parks and resorts! You can find the Binx Pastry Tail and the Cold Witches' Brew Coffee at
Cheshire Café at the Magic Kingdom. There is also the Oh, My Gourd Cupcake at the Main Street Bakery. Over at EPCOT, you can get your pumpkin spice on with the Pumpkin Spice Macaron in the France Pavilion at L’Artisan des Glaces. These are just a few examples, but check out the
Disney Parks Blog for more information regarding items to try during your visit.
Make sure you visit the Magic Kingdom during a regular park day! Main Street, U.S.A. and many other areas of the park are decorated for the season. You'll find Mickey-shaped pumpkins lining the lamp posts with fall wreaths mixed in. There are carved-out pumpkins at the front of the park which is the perfect place for a photo spot.
Jennifer, I hope you have a magical time during your upcoming visit!
See ya real soon!
