    Hello Marie.  I am so excited to hear about your upcoming vacation at Walt Disney World.  

    Our family favorite meal at Walt Disney World is 'Ohana for dinner at Disney's Polynesian Resort.  It is all-you-care-to-enjoy served right to your table.  Steak, chicken, pork and shrimp are the main offerings cooked in the middle of the restaurant on a wood fire grill.  The restaurant even offers entertainment like hula dancing, coconut races and the limbo!  My daughter has enjoyed this restaurant since she was your son's age.  I would go as far as saying it is the best meal at Walt Disney World and it is only 1 Table Service Credit per person.  Your son would also enjoy Chef Mickey's.  Chef Mickey's is an all-you-care-to-enjoy character breakfast or dinner at Disney's Contemporary Resort.  While you enjoy your meal Mickey and friends will make their way around the dining room taking pictures and signing autographs.  This meal is a kid favorite and very popular.  We also enjoy Tusker House for breakfast at Disney's Animal Kingdom.  The breakfast and lunch are both character meals and the food is fantastic.  If you can land a 10:30 a.m. reservation you will be able to enjoy offerings from both the breakfast buffet and the lunch buffet.  Both menus are fantastic and offer a variety of traditional food and African inspired dishes.  If your son likes to watch Disney Junior, you all will have a fantastic time dining at Disney's Play and Dine at Hollywood and Vine located inside Disney's Hollywood Studios.  During breakfast and lunch you can meet characters from Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Handy Many, Doc McStuffins and Sofia the First.  We also love dining at Cape May Cafe, TREX, California Grill, Via Napoli and Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano just to name a few.

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
