Hi, I've booked the Disney Wonder from LA to the Mexican Riviera. I'm wondering a) what time are we allowed to board the ship on Day1 (leaves 4 pm) and b) what time I can expect we'll be able to leave (9:30 am?) and arrive at LAX airport on the last day?

    Hi Tara!

Oh my goodness!  I just looked at your itinerary and I am sooo jealous!  I, personally, have never sailed the Mexican Riviera, but it looks completely fabulous!  I have always dreamed of lounging on the gorgeous beaches of Puerto Vallarta after a long day of exploring the city......  But I digress, back to you!

It appears as though check in at the port will begin around 10:30 AM, with actual boarding around 11:45 AM.  However, this is up to the Captain's discretion.  I always love to squeeze every last second out of my cruises, so I would plan on arriving at 10:0 AM and be among the first to board.  Once onboard, you can have lunch and relax until it is time for the Adventures Away, Sail Away Celebration!  This is one of my favorite parts of a Disney Cruise - hearing the horn blast out "When You Wish Upon a Star" always brings tears to my eyes!

On your final day, departure is usually allowed as early as 7:30 AM, although you may certainly linger.  Disney recommends that you don't book your flight from LAX until after 12:30 PM, just to be safe.  Have a fabulous cruise!!!
