Hi there, Regina! Welcome aboard planDisney. Thanks for sailing to us with your question as you prepare for a magical vacation on land and at sea.
I love ending time at Walt Disney World Resort with a Disney Cruise. It's the perfect combo! It already sounds like you have some solid plans by choosing to leave the transportation to Disney between your resort and the port.
As you and your husband both have valid passports, gathering the necessary
Travel Documentation will be a breeze. The
required documents for boarding the ship are your passport and the Online Check-In Port Arrival Form. You will receive the Online Check-In Port Arrival Form upon completing the Online Check-In Process.
If you are a first-time Disney cruiser, you can begin Online Check-In 30 days before your sail date. Sign in to your reservation on Disney Cruise Line's website or via the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to begin. From the website, you can hover your mouse over the "Already Booked" tab and select "Online Check-In." During the process, you will be asked to upload photos of your passports and a security photo for each guest (from the shoulders up, against a plain background, no accessories). Additionally, you will be asked to provide contact information, an emergency contact, a credit card to cover onboard charges, and your travel plans for both your arrival and departure days.
As you have selected to use Disney Cruise Line ground transportation, you will not be required to select a Port Arrival Time during Online Check-In. Instead, you will receive an email approximately 48 hours before your sailing date with instructions on when and where to meet your Disney Cruise Line representative at your resort for departure.
Your Port Arrival Form will display your Boarding Group and will be emailed to you upon completing Online Check-In. You may print it to bring it with you or display it digitally upon checking in in person at the port. Regina, if you have additional questions, please return to planDisney to ask! My pals and I will be here to help you get shipshape and ready to sail.
Happy Planning,
Adrianna
